We mash and then boil the wort in the converted 15 gal. keg, and the bucket is for sparging the grain, for those who are into the vernacular. The Bobcat sure couldn’t care less. Not a beer lover. Bears, on the other hand, love them some beer. We have a dedicated beer fridge with a tap through the door, in the shed there, and a bear tore open the shed door, years back, and left a nasty drool of slobber on the fridge latch before I ran him off, but didn’t flick the tap open, thankfully. Can you imagine a four hundred pound bear with five gallons of beer in it? Now we have an electric cattle gate across the door, which does the trick.
