Just a sliver of Tahoe showing from here on the Pacific Crest. One year we watched the Fourth of July fireworks in Incline Village twenty miles away, from up here, lined up perfectly, by chance, and sufficiently far away that I could cover them with my outstretched thumb, which seemed far enough.
