One of only a handful of times in decades that I’ve seen tracks here that weren’t my own, and these quite clearly were following my old tracks in places, but today the boot top trail breaking is taking it’s toll, and I am admittedly relieved for the assistance of a packed skin track. Part of me anyway, the lazy part (hamstrings?), the rest of me would gladly prefer to break trail for pristine wildness, that is after all why I’m here in the first place.
